This week, we welcomed Sophia to the marketing team at the Empire Riverside Hotel. She moved straight from a wellness hotel in the Bavarian Forest to our Empire Riverside Hotel in the heart of St. Pauli.
Read moreDuring her time with us, Sophia gained fascinating insights into the wide range of tasks involved in hotel marketing. She was able to follow, step by step, how content is developed to suit specific target audiences and how digital initiatives are planned.
From social media communication to the development of creative content, she gained an understanding of the processes behind the Empire Riverside Hotel’s brand identity.

Mass casualty incident - an object exercise, as realistic as possible!
On 4 September 2024, the Empire Riverside Hotel was transformed into an exciting location for a large-scale exercise. The Altona Volunteer Fire Brigade and the ASB rescue service used the premises to rehearse a realistic mass casualty scenario. Injuries of varying severity - from minor scratches to unconsciousness - were simulated and practised in order to be optimally prepared for an emergency.
