Recently, no topic has been discussed as widely as the coronavirus. We are all affected by the global pandemic, so we are all pleased that things are finally getting better. Thanks to vaccinations, there is hope.

We at the Empire Riverside Hotel are delighted that it's now our turn to shine. Because, especially as a company whose main task is constant customer contact, the coronavirus has taken on a very high priority for us. We make every effort to ensure that you, as well as our employees, have a safe stay in our company and are protected in every way. In order to ensure this, all employees of the house were given the opportunity to be vaccinated.

To our delight, the offer was not only positively received, but also warmly welcomed. In total, almost 100 of our 245 employees of the Empire Riverside Hotel and the Hotel Hafen Hamburg were vaccinated. Many of the other employees had already been vaccinated. The feedback was very positive. It was acknowledged how fast and organized the vaccination appointments were. Some of our employees had already been on waiting lists with their family doctors or the vaccination center for some time, and were therefore fairly surprised at how quickly their vaccination appointments could be carried out.

"I had been barely registered and my vaccination appointment was already here," says Sandrina Huber from Reservations Food & Beverage. Our new work colleague Luna-Gina Fenkse, Assistant Food & Beverage Management, found it very impressive that even as a new team member, she was taken on board right away. "I was already given the opportunity to be vaccinated on the third day of duty. There was no distinction made, everyone was given a chance."

We are aware of the situation of the pandemic and its impact on each one, so we hope that thanks to the vaccinations a bit of normality will return, and we can again happily pursue our passion and be your hosts.
