Dear guests,

what a year! After we opened our doors to all travelers again in May, it was our greatest joy to see our house filled with life and to fulfill our passion to be hosts again. Even though not everything was allowed in Hamburg, we constantly tried to offer you the best tips and conditions for an unforgettable and safe stay at the port of Hamburg. Your positive feedback and the smiling faces behind the mask were the proof that our efforts were worthwhile.

After a wonderful summer and many great moments with you, we are facing a new challenge. COVID-19 will unfortunately once again hinder us and surely you as well in our plans, projects and above all in our everyday life.

Due to the current situation, we have decided with a heavy heart to close the Empire Riverside Hotel as well as the associated restaurants & bars from November 2nd until further notice.

To be honest, we miss you already now! But also this time we are looking forward to welcoming you again soon with the most beautiful view of the harbour, the Elbphilharmonie and Hamburg. Until then, we hope that we all stay healthy and in touch.
