The autumn begins with news from the kitchen in restaurant waterkant. Just in time for the start of the new season, the new menu is available for all lovers of the good cuisine. A lot of new seasonal dishes can be found, for example, in the starters. You can expect truffled celery soup with North Sea crabs and apple as well as a colourful selection of salads - for example leaf salad with pickled beetroot, caramelized nuts and balsamic dressing or fruity quinoa salad with avocado, cranberries, pickled pear and pomegranate seeds. For fish enthusiasts, the kitchen team from waterkant has prepared Stained beetroot salmon with cucumber, crème fraîche & buckwheat. Vegetarians will also find something to their taste and can among other things look forward to saffron risotto with peppers and peas or goat cheese ravioli with fig mustard and pumpkin puree.
At the restaurant waterkant you can enjoy an elegant atmosphere all year round and a wonderful view over the harbour docks and the river Elbe. Matching the Grill l Fish l Bar concept, you will find a year-round selection of excellent fish, with a variety of side dishes and sauces, as well as the Catch of the Day, Imperial and Sylt Royal Oysters, served with fresh lemon and cheddar bread. Finish off the evening sweetly with Kalter Hund with strawberry sorbet or banana split with Oreo Crumble.
