Hamburg, 17 February 2023

It is always gratifying to see young people taking the step into the working world and decide to do an apprenticeship. Therefore, we are particularly proud at the Empire Riverside Hotel and the Hotel Hafen Hamburg to welcome five new apprentices this year.

Our new apprentices have chosen various professions and will do their utmost to expand their knowledge and skills in the coming years. In doing so, they will be supported by experienced trainers and colleagues who will provide them with advice and support.

Among the new apprentices are three prospective hoteliers who will specialise in the various areas of the hotel. They will learn everything about managing rooms, reservations and invoices, but also about serving guests in our restaurants and bars. Through their work, our apprentices will come into contact with many different personalities and gain valuable experience.

Another apprentice has chosen the creative profession of cook and will learn everything about food preparation and kitchen organization in the coming years. He will work in our restaurants and kitchens and will be assisted by experienced chefs. Passionate about cooking, he will spoil our restaurant and our guests with culinary delights.

One of the apprentice has decided to get the profession of restaurant and event catering specialist. Here she will learn everything about serving guests, organising events and purchasing goods.

We look forward to supporting our new apprentices in their professional development and providing them with a foundation to start their careers. We look forward to the enrichment and look forward to the next three years.
