New Food & Beverage Manager - Ahmet Mourad.

The Empire Riverside Hotel is strengthening its leadership team in the food and beverage division: since August 2025, Ahmet Mourad has been responsible as the new Food & Beverage Manager for all F&B outlets of the Hamburg design hotel located on the waterfront. The 35-year-old hospitality professional brings extensive operational experience and represents the combination of quality, structure and a passion for innovation.

Ahmet Mourad’s professional career has taken him to renowned establishments in Germany and Switzerland. Among others, he was responsible for the F&B division at the Romantik Hotel Jagdhaus Eiden am See and the Strandhotel Duhnen. He gained international experience as Food & Beverage Supervisor at the luxury hotel The Chedi Andermatt, which was named Hotel of the Year by the Guide Michelin in 2017. There, he oversaw several restaurants with different culinary concepts, including two that had been awarded Michelin stars.

At the Empire Riverside Hotel, Mourad has now taken on responsibility for all of the hotel’s gastronomic concepts: the restaurant waterkant, with its show kitchen, reinterprets classic Nordic cuisine through honest creations made from fresh ingredients, authentic flavours and genuine craftsmanship; DAVID’S Lounge, by contrast, is an elegant bar with a fireplace lounge offering drinks, coffee and snacks in a stylish setting. Both are popular meeting places and culinary hotspots for hotel guests as well as for the people of Hamburg themselves.
