17 January is the international day of Italian cuisine! We have a suitable recipe idea for you! Our chef Phillip König has prepared a delicious pasta dish for us that will simply delight everyone! Our "Pasta aglio e olio with prawns" not only tastes great, but is also quick and easy to prepare! The interplay of light spiciness and fresh parsley tastes fabulous. To make it even tastier for you, we have made a short video of the preparation, which will serve as a little support.

Ingredients

PASTA DOUGH

200 g semola (durum wheat semolina)
2 pcs. eggs size M
1 pinch of salt
10 g olive oil
sparkling water

PRAWNS AGLIO E OLIO

8 pcs. prawns
4 cloves garlic
1 pc. peperoncini
approx. 60 ml extra virgin olive oil
parsley
salt & pepper

Preparation

For the pasta dough, place the semola in a bowl and form a well. Add the eggs, salt and olive oil to well. Add a little sparkling water if needed, but only as little as possible so that the dough does not become too soft. Work the ingredients into the semola from the inside out until a smooth dough is formed. Shape the dough into a ball and chill in cling film for 2 hours. The dough can then be rolled out and shaped into the desired shape.


For the prawns aglio e olio, finely slice the garlic. Chop the peperoncini. Finely chop the parsley leaves.

Cook the pasta in salted water. Keep a little of the cooking water, as this will be added later. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the prawns. Add the garlic, chilli and parsley.

Drain the pasta and add it, dripping wet, to the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Season with sea salt and pepper and add about a ladleful of the pasta water. Now the dish can be served. Enjoy your meal!
