On 23rd October, our apprentices set off from the vibrant heart of Hamburg, the Empire Riverside Hotel, on an exciting trip to Brussels to discover new cultures, visit international sights and, of course, to strengthen their team spirit.

The start was early - they all met at Hamburg Central Station at 6.45 am for the train journey to Brussels, with a short change in Cologne. After arriving at the JAM Hotel in Brussels, the group had time to relax and enjoy a snack before going on a discovery tour of the city with the guide in the afternoon. The city tour took the group to the hidden gems of the city and ended with dinner together - Belgian fries were of course a must! The day ended with an optional pub and bar tour in the old town or a return to the hotel.

The next morning, our apprentices had breakfast to fortify themselves for the day, which included a visit to the Atomium and the Design Museum as well as the European Parliament with an optional tour of the Parlamentarium. After returning to the city centre and having dinner together, the apprentices had free time to explore the city on their own.

The last day began again with breakfast, followed by a free morning for walks and shopping in the city centre. The return journey was scheduled for 11 am, so that all participants were able to start their journey home full of new impressions and closer bonds with each other.

This apprentice trip was more than just a journey; it was an opportunity for our team to grow, learn and network outside of the work environment. Every experience, every shared meal and every discovery helped lay the foundation for a successful future.
