New Concept for the waterkant.

After 6 weeks of renovation, the waterkant restaurant is reopening with the new concept Grill |Fish |Bar and a new design by star- architect David Chipperfield. Before the reopening, the restaurant focused on selected international cuisine. The new waterkant now focuses on a selected variation of special fish in relevance to the restaurants location at the port of Hamburg. Fresh fish is delivered to the restaurant from the fish market daily and turbot, sole and loup de mer are prepared and grilled in front of the eyes of our guests in our show kitchen.

You can choose your fish from our catch of the day in our open fish display and share it with family and friends. This concept is referred to as “meal- sharing” and has become very popular in our restaurant. The entire fish is served to the table, accompanied by various side dishes. Our service will fillet the fish to your demands. This concept is very special in that it creates a very communicative atmosphere which you can enjoy with our selection of over 80 wines and an incredible view over the harbour and the docks of Blohm & Voss.
